"The Broken Column"

This Masonic play is set in Changi prisoner of war camp, Singapore, and on the Burma Railway during 1942 - 1945.

Premiered in 1991, it is intended to be a tribute to those members of the craft who suffered under the Japanese.

The play shows in a moving way how the brethren formed lodges and practiced their masonry even under the most terrible conditions of confinement and brutality.

"The Morgan Masonic Crisis"

This play is set in America in 1825 and tells the true story of William Morgan, showing how his actions caused the greatest anti-masonic feeling the world has ever known. In New York alone 405 lodges closed in just seven years as Masonry throughout the world went into decline.

Written by W.Bro. P.W. Racey P.G.D and premiered in December 1997.

"The Grand Guignol of Freemasonry during the Inquisition"

In 1738 Pope Clement XXII published a paper denouncing freemasons, and at once the craft in several European countries became the object of close attention by the Holy Office better known as THE INQUISITION.

Of the various cases whose records survive, the most famous is that of John Coustos who in 1746 published an account of his arrest, trial, and suffering at the hands of the inquisition.

Our play re-enacts these events and conveys the essence of the charges against Coustos, the evidence produced in court, the suffering he endured and the result of his trial.
