Introduction by the Provincial Grand Master

Welcome to the Norfolk Masonic Web Site.

There have been Freemasons in Norfolk since 1759 and there are now 3,800 members spread over 75 Lodges.

We hope you will find something of interest in the following pages. The purpose of the site is not only to inform our own members, but hopefully to publicise the UK's largest secular fraternal and charitable organisation. We not only enjoy ourselves but we care for and support our members and their families as well as the communities outside Freemasonry where we meet all over the County.

We are not secret and the Web Site is an endeavour to demystify much of what we do so that a web-surfer can obtain an idea of the strength of masonry in Norfolk, where we are and what we do.

Right Worshipful Brother J.S. Rushmer.
