This building is owned by the Town Council and is normally used by the general public for dinners, dances, plays, badminton, etc.

It was erected for public purposes in 1850 and has its own kitchens. The building adjoins the Market Place which is used for parking (free).

	The Provincial Grand Lodge of Norfolk consists of 75 private lodges, including over 4,500 members. Masonic meetings are held at 23 masonic centres throughout Norfolk.
