Of all the buildings used as Temples in Norfolk, these are probably the oldest, being about 400 to 450 years old. They were used for many years as a mineral water factory, and were purchased by Faithful Lodge in 1974.

This was the first Temple owned by the Lodge in its 200 year existence, it had moved many times, but never to premises which it owned.

It took two years work by members of the Lodge before it could be used for masonic purposes, and even now, the upper floors, owing to their age and construction, cannot be used other than as offices and cannot be used as a dining room.

This means that the Temple has to be cleared of masonic furniture before the tables can be set up for dining.

There are bar facilities and there is plenty of free parking in the facility.

It is not too easy to find, but is approached down the main street, which is one way; past the Swan Inn and the Cardinal's Hat Public House on the left hand side until you reach a junction. The Temple is advertised by a small notice board "Masonic Rooms", which is displayed on an archway. Go through the archway and the Temple is on the right, about 50 yards from the archway.
